With a bold vision to be the market leader in Asia, a digital asset management group needed a narrative that created a buzz about the exciting journey ahead, and empowered its new leadership team to bring the story to life – internally and externally.
As new market entrants with a bold value proposition, there was an obligation to educate the wider industry in a way that established credibility and trust.
For leaders, this was about building confidence and their capability to pitch the narrative to new audiences. And beyond this, building the foundation for speak about it at global conferences. For clients, this was about compelling them to be part of the digital journey: the opportunity is ripe and the time is now. For the industry, this was about shifting the narrative towards digital assets – the future of financial services.
What we did:
The Story Shaping programme

Through a series of story workshops with the leadership and communications team, we developed a significant understanding of the audience and what they needed to know about HashKey, now and in the future. With these fundamental insights, we developed a personality for the business and storylines that will influence audiences to aspire towards the new way of thinking.
The Narrative-Enabled Leader programme
(training leaders to bring the story to life in a compelling way for their people)
Once HashKey’s unique narrative was in place, we worked hard to empower leaders throughout the business with a series of narrative workshops, culminating in an all-staff town hall to bring the narrative to life. The training gave participants a comprehensive understanding of the science and power of story in business. It helped them to understand the language of HashKey’s authentic tone of voice, and taught them how to use story and structure to talk about HashKey in a way that persuades and inspires.
Every employee at Hashkey went through the narrative training. They developed a thorough understanding of the Hashkey brand narrative and tone of voice and, importantly, created their own well-structured story to bring it all to life.
