My own story
I believe that life is a pattern of interconnected systems and stories. So, the more stories you discover and tell, the more connected you become to the people and world around you. As Muriel Rukeyser famously said, “The universe is made of stories, not atoms.”
Throughout my life, story has played a central role in everything I’ve done, from my first attempt at writing a novel when I was 16 (earning me an A* in GSCE English!) to a 12-year stint in corporate communications in London, Sydney, and Hong Kong, and now running the Asia business for Write the Talk.
In 2020, I also co-founded a production company in Australia to tell fierce female stories that provoke conversations and drive change, and we’ve since created two award-winning productions that have reached people across the globe. Story is also about helping us find our tribe, which is why I founded Kaleidoscope, a women’s networking initiative that creates safe spaces for female leaders to share their stories and perspectives.
I combine this experience and passion to help businesses and leaders become more connected to the people who matter. Story is the animating force behind everything we do, and I’m excited to help more people wield this powerful tool.
